Set-up day, early attendees who wish to camp out overnight are welcome to arrive today!

9:00AM - Welcome and opening announcements

10:00AM - Noon - Workshops and a regional meeting of Veterans for Peace

11:00AM - Noon - "Trickle-down Trauma" workshop by Cynthia and Michael Orange. Cynthia Orange is a freelance writer, editor, and writing consultant. Her recent book, Shock Waves: A Practical Guide to Living with a Loved One's PTSD (Hazelden) will be available. Michael Orange served as a Marine in Vietnam in 1969-70. In 2001, he published a memoir of his experiences, Fire in the Hole: A Mortarman in Vietnam.

12:00PM - 1:30PM - Break for lunch, music and more announcements, relaxation.

1:30PM - 3:00PM - Mike Ferner talking of his Vietnam trip and Susan M. Schnall, knowledgeable on the toxicology of Agent Orange. For more information about speakers and panelists, see our Speakers page.

3:00-3:30PM - Break.

3:30PM - 5:00PM - Cynthia McKinney speaking her experiences working for justice.

5:45PM - Supper.

7:00PM - Music by Bonnie & the Clydes. For more information about the musicians, see our Music page.


8.00PM til the wee hours - Start the campfire, more music and caaraderie, followed by overnight camping
